About Me

It’s funny, everyone’s life is a story. It’s just they’re all different, and diversity *is* what makes life interesting. Possibly, one of the only interesting parts of my life starts in Africa, where I worked for the military initially designing defensive weapons. I used to be on site a lot, military bases, border installations, everyone carrying arms, myself included, I would occasionally get shot at and quite a bit more. Not a nice environment, but not much different from modern day Iraq or Afghanistan. Except the lead for us was measured in ounces, rather than pounds. But we did have our share of makeshift limpet mines and other pipe bombs that had to be diffused. The people we were preventing from getting into the country had a different name other than Al Queda, but terrorists none the less. It’s funny, when their leaders live long enough, they become “Poster Boys for Terror” and then they get Nobel Peace Prizes, go figure??? I feel badly for the US/Coilition soldiers in the middle east right now, I know how bad it can get. I wish for them the wisdom and strength to resolve the “small issues”, because the larger issues will hopefully follow suite a little easier.

To get past the hard ‘bits’ of my personal experiences with the military and a few “well respected governments”, I wrote a book (actually an expose of corruption with all the names changed) primarily as therapy. I’ve had to do a lot of things that in a way, I do regret. I was fortunate in my writing since I was not terribly encumbered by legal issues, as most of my protagonists are either dead or in jail and I have now published the work. You never know what tomorrow might bring to alter your direction. The linked pages are just a little about me. I’ve had a long career and I think I’ve done a few beneficial things in my life. Most of the ‘good stuff’ is left out and the book web page is a little sketchy, but hey, it’s just a partial outline of 15 years in the trenches.

Anyway, ‘nuff said, I’m just a guy like any other.
